I. Application Period

February 23 (Mon.) to March 13 (Fri.), 5:00 PM (during office hours), 2026.

II. Application Method

Applications must be submitted by student clubs in hard copy. Please submit the documents to the Extracurricular Activities Division office within the application period.

III. Eligible Activity Types

  1. International Exchange Activities of Student Clubs
    • Professional exchange activities
    • International forums
    • International competitions
  2. International Volunteer Service of Student Clubs
    • New service locations
    • Existing service locations

IV. Required Application Documents

  1. Student Club Activity Application Form (generated from the Club Information System)
  2. NTU Beyond Borders Application Form (Attachment 1)
  3. Activity Proposal (no fixed format, but must include the following):
    • Theme and objectives
    • Detailed description of activities
    • Number of participants
    • Proposed implementation timeline (including preparation, execution, and review)
    • Budget (including income such as club funds/sponsorship and expenditures)
    • Evaluation of outcomes
    • If the exchange destination is a university ranked in international rankings such as QS or THE, please specify the institution and exchange format, and attach relevant ranking information.

V. Reimbursement Deadline

Reimbursement must be completed within one month after the activity concludes. Late submissions will not be accepted.

VI. Important Notes

  1. Funding is limited to currently enrolled NTU students.
    • Each project must include at least three NTU students participating at the destination.
    • Participants must travel and return as a group.
    • Students from other universities may not be counted toward the required number of participants.
  2. The proposal must include a daily itinerary during the activity period.
    • For international volunteer projects, airfare information must be attached (including ticketed amount or online price quotation).
    • Social gatherings, visits, sightseeing, or entertainment activities will not be eligible for subsidy.
  3. The amount of subsidy may be adjusted depending on the allocated annual budget.
    • To maximize funding effectiveness and ensure fairness among applicants, previous reimbursement performance of applicant clubs will be considered during review.
  4. If changes to the approved plan are necessary, the club must notify and obtain approval from the Division at least one week before departure.
    • If the destination becomes unsuitable due to war, natural disasters, major incidents, or other emergencies as determined by the University or relevant authorities, the University reserves the right to deny approval, request adjustments, or revoke prior approval.
    • Any expenses incurred due to itinerary changes or cancellation shall be borne by the club. The University will not provide compensation.
    • If the number of participants, duration, or project content changes after approval, the University reserves the right to adjust the approved subsidy amount.
